Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York in the U.S.A. She is an American actor who has a reputation for playing tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was raised in a theatre family her father was the playwright, Romulus Linney. She graduated in 1986 at Brown University. She then pursued a degree in Theatre at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her first stop in 1990. The actress began performing in the city on Broadway, earning accolades for roles such as Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
