Lita Rossana Ford - also known as Lita Ford - is an American guitar player, singer and songwriter British heritage. In the latter part of the 1970s, she served as a lead guitarist with the girl-only hard rock group The Runaways. Ford was a long-running and lucrative career as a heavy metal singer after her band's split in 1979. The two albums didn't receive much success, and Ford just vanished out of the scene for several years. The album she dominated, "Lita" was released in 1988 and brought her back with an explosion.
